I don't know where this is, it's called Transfagarasan Road, which sounds Seth Efrikan to me... Looks kick arse too!

for that last photo, wouldn`t stop a trail bike, you`d want to cane up and down it just to piss off who ever complained about people speeding up the alley in the first place

It's in Romania.

It was originally built as a Military Transport Road.

Check out the info here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transf%C4%83g%C4%83r%C4%83%C5%9Fan

Oh and note that its only open for 4 months a year too. Sometimes as little as 2 if it snows in August...

Wasn't that one of the roads featured on Top Gear? I'm sure there was an episode where they went serching for the best driving road in the world and this was one of them.

That was the Stelvio Pass, more famous but not as good as it's just straights and hairpins

I had the same thought too Jup, the road looked bloody familiar.

Here's the Stelvio. The other give-away is the line markings, the italians would never have them that neat and well maintained

The Roads in southern switzerland are mind blowing.sussten pass.nuffnen pass.the road up to sanech i thank my workmate charlot and his brother christof they invited me to montana supplied the bikes and we rode all day for 5 days.i think about those roads and the enless twisties constantly. amazing as the roads are the drivers see you as you fly up behind them and will pull over to let you past.never happen here sadly

Here's the Stelvio. The hills are alive with the sound of motorbikes in the twisties and Jacktar causing one of the lads to get airlifted out to hospital after trowelling his fighter...

Geez mate I know we blame Jacktar for a lot, but a fuck up in a foreign country?
