As the heading suggests, the GF is lookin to get her licence, so im starting to have a hunt around for something legal, under the LAMS scheme. If anyone has a bike suitable kickin round in there sheds, that they wanna offload, hit me up. I dont care if its in pieces, if the price is right its all good. The only thing is, preferably something post late 80's if possible.

Cheers,

Glenn.

If you are under the lams laws why get a 250? For the love of god there are good reasons that these laws were implemented. In twelve months she will want something bigger and you will be up for more money just get a bloody 600 or something to start with and she might keep it fo a couple of years.

Nah dunno mate. She isnt a very strong rider. Only taught her how to ride an ag bike on the weekend. I can see this bike getting rarly ridden( once a fortnight or so). Id rather she went down the 250 road just personally, plus her being a shortass and not able to touch the ground while sitting on my old cbr 250 kinda persuaded me as well. Saying that, i have been lookin at those hyosung 650's and such, still unsure if i like them though. Meh.
