Now there's a Moto GP I'd actually watch... Too bad all the money has ruined it (just like every sport the world over, I guess).

*Disclaimer* I am fully aware that without the money, the sport would be dead, and there'd be no forward momentum in bike design, blah, blah, blah... thought I'd get in early ;)

Nothing against modern MotoGP and the riders as I love watching it and Rossi is undoubtedly one of the best riders ever, but the 500GP days rocked. Vicious bikes that were ridden by guys showing large amounts of skill and even larger amounts of bravery. The racing seemed closer too, or am I just getting old and nostalgic. Unfortunately some of those brave men paid heavily for their commitment and the entertainment they provided us.

That was the shit, not like the more recent races where I see the start and seem to waken up just as the race has finished..
