I need to get the four on the floor reco'd. Changing into 1st at the lights this arvo it decided it wanted reverse and putting it into gear locked it up. I managed to free it, but it is pretty much shagged.

Anyone know anywhere decent around Brisbane who does them?

Or somewhere I can buy one cheap to replace it?

mate it sounds like you were selecting to gears at once and if thats the case then its the shifter not the gearbox

So replacing the shifter should fix it? I know stupid question but...

get onto Duncan at Top Cog in Caloundra. if its the box he can fix it, if its the shifter he'll know and tell you. he dose diff and gear box's only and when it comes to gears if he cant do it, no one can.

Cheers for the heads up SKS, I got it back today and it's like a whole new car to drive.

Duncan's service was second to none (Like old school country folk service) and I would recomend him to anyone. A great job at a great price.

He'll even look at bike boxes if anyone needs one done. (Yep I asked).
