Does anyone know where i could find a racing ECU for a Yamaha R1 09?

I have a AFR tuner hook up already, but it would run better with the AFR tuner running through a racing ECU instead of a stock one.

Cheers shadowzone, found one through YEC. They only ship them for the actual racers & superbikes etc..., also they cut out the speedo & all the goodies you need for the road. So i'll just concentrate on the airbox mods for now. PCIII is similar to the AFR. racing ECU is to replace the R1 standard ECU (not a good idea for road use thou, woops!)

Racing ecu also lets the throttle open fully at high revs, apparently the std one reduces the throttle position to 80% in the top end

That's the primary motivation for getting one (the 100% throttle)

Still, somone needs to work out how to get it to open to 100% on the stock ECU

i dont know if tuneboy.com works on the yam's but for my 955i it can change any and every thing. sooooo much more than the PCiii. but i only know about the triumphs. might be worth a look.

Used to be able to buy a clip to put into the wiring harness that told the ecu you were in 5th gear regardless of the actual gear selected. Made most bikes nicely savage and only cost around $120 about 5yrs ago.

Puppet would know more than I do about them cause I'm pretty sure he had one fitted to his K2/K3 fighter...
