Seat retrim

After giving me bike a wash the other day i parked it in the shed and all was good. Then two dots later as i walked past i noticed that the seat was cracked I went to my local Kawasaki dealer today for a few other things and while i was there i asked about a new seat cover and after nearly shiting myself i asked him to repeat the price and i did hear right the first time at $175.
So on my merry way i went to the upholster around the corner only to told that i can't get the vinyl to match. Ok says me what can i get that will be similar and we come up with the stuff they use on moto X griper seats Cool how much so after the shock of the bike shop still fresh in my mind iwas then told that to recover 1 seat will cost me just $120 or $220 for both. Now i feeling like i'm going to be shafted hard core and being a glutton for punishment i thought i would try the local trimmer in Warragul. He had the same gripper fabric in stock and will only charge me $80 for both seats so my faith in humanity has been restored :)

you should have brought a stapler ($30) and fabric ($10) , done it yourself and had the equipment to do it again next time. I think the apolster rip of bike riders.Its all so cheap and easy to do.

Thanks rod and everyone like you said thank fuck for the locals
as for grip the things like Velcro so i may have to have it done again
in something less grippy we see after this weekend.

i did my pillion seat in that stuff, but reckon its a bit too grippy for the riders, maybe just me tho, find i cant move around easily enough. chicks on the back love it, only prob is there is note of that slap in the back with titties when they slide forward :(

actually tim, i have one here i think would fit ur bike, i covered it in white leather(pimping) before i realised it wouldnt fucking fit mine. that means you'll have to come up for a ride!
