I am selling my old ride if anyone is interested. Just put six months more rego on it as it was due. I have had this bike for about 12 months but the engine I have had for ten years in a different bike. The engine has 3 little oil leaks, the first is around the front head bolt just in front of the cam chain, it is weeping past one of the head bolt seals on the rear left cylinder head bolt and it lets a couple of drips go when you turn the engine off from I think the bottom bolt of the front sprocket cover which a mechanic told me is common and it just needs some sealant on the threads to fix it. The engine has a set of forged wiseco pistons in it with all cometic gaskets. The engine would have done probably 2000km since the top end was done. The bottom end was checked when it was apart and it was fine. The sump was removed at the same time to replace the oil pump and for checking the gears, selector forks and shift drums all of which were found to be fine. The chain and sprockets are in good condition, it has an O ring chain in it. The brake pads have been replaced recently but the disks on the front will need replacing on the next change which will be some time away. The body work is in fair to good condition, all the lights work, I have just replaced one of the front indicators. The tank has been repainted but it is not the best job it looks like it needs to be color sanded and polished as it is a bit dull. There is a gear rack but no bag. The rear inner guard has some cracks coming out from around the left indicator mount hole which will be easily fixed with some plastic welding. The front tyre is at about 90% and the rear is probably at about 65%. The suspension bush you can see me pointing at will need to be replaced soon as it has noticeable play in it and the rear wheel bearing need replacing as it felt a little bit wobbly the last time I took it for a ride. The fuel level sensor in the tank is a bit dodgy so it makes the warning light on the dash flash so the tank mounted display is disconnected at the moment. The fuel tap needed replacing but I could not locate one at a reasonable price yet so I have threaded the inside of the bung to take a tail and just put that valve in for now but it has no reserve. When an original tap comes along it can be screwed directly back onto the tank. To get it back on the road it just needs a new battery as the one that is in it has failed and will not take and hold a charge that is it. There is a photo of some spares that I have there for it. I am getting rid of it as I have a new bike and 5 others so one had to go[V]. Looking for $2000 and there is a spare complete engine which is for sale as well which is complete but down on compression.
