Hey guys,
Joined up a while back, thought I better say g'day.
No fighter yet, about to buy a house though once I sell my current bike, then i'll have a garage to start tinkering in, had two bikes so far an 00 SV650 for my first bike, then I got the need for speed and picked up an 00 600RR which im selling now (pics of both below). Looking to pick up something soon to start hacking to bits :D Not sure what, but I have always liked the 02/03 R1 or an 05/06 GSXR 750...

Cheers.

I honestly thought about it for a long time guys, but its mint and i have spent money on stuff like the tinted screen, led flushmounts, headlight covers etc which would then be wasted, plus im after a change at any rate, oh and MORE POWER :D

HAHA yes they will when the right wrist is twisted, as will I. Im power hungry after having two 600s. I had a 300+kw V8 ute till recently so I gotta get a faster bike.

good luck with selling it, took me 12 months to get rid of my R6... unless you're lucky you won't get anywhere near what half the cockwanks out there want for used jap supersports (ie advertised prices atm are nowhere near MARKET price)

Keep the 600 amnd shoehorn a 954 donk into it.

And if you flog the tupperware and other bling you have for it which you won't need once you've stripped it, that'll fund some of the cost of the project.

See I do have good ideas occasionally.

Oh and welcome to the insanity that s this place mate...

Oh yeah and sell the existing donk on a carting forum. See easy to do mate...

Wow, [:p] green with envy at such a sweet first ride! And love the CBR too. Sorry to go against what the other gus are saying here, but if i was lookin to step it up in power and not spend zillions, i'd sell the CBR soon (its coming to summer & that means warm weather which can be good for sellers), and keep my eye out for an 89' GSXR 1100 ($2k-$6k depepnding on if you want a stocker or a pre-made stretfighter).
Before i bought my newish Ninja-12 i was dead-set on a Gixxer 1100, the frames on them are perfect for chopping up, the motors are excellent for power & parts, and you can fit anything onto them. Thinking about it now, it would actually make a nuts-good project. I had plans to strip it, reco it, throw an R1 rear end on it, digital dash, dirtbike bars, acerbis twin headlights, oh and yes, make use of the GT28r turbo sitting in my shed.
Hmm, i think i can justify a summer project *daydreaming...*

Anywy, just my suggestion. Good luck with your conundrum! ;)

Thats pretty much the plan ^^^ just whatever comes up for 6k or less ill look at to be honest, I cant afford to tear into a 10k bike which is perfectly good now...

It'd be good im quite sure of that! But I have a loan for it, so what im wanting to do is sell and payout the loan, buy a cheaper bike and use the rest toward my house deposit, which will then mean i have a garage to tear into the new bike with the appropriate power tools hahaha
