I got to thinking and in this time of economic downturn, i thought i am never going to sell this bloody thing, so what else can i do with it??
then while looking around the shed i found an old turbo off a diesel ute that i rebuilt and i thought hey maybe i could do something with this, the turbo is stuffed so a new one will be needed. and i was thinking of Fuel injection, and a Water to air intercooler, and Water to Oil, oil cooler, so that would give me more space up front for a radiator, oh and of course the, mandatory risers and bars up front with no fairings.....
so why have i put this post in this section, well i need a bit of info on the best turbo to use, the turboing of a water cooled 1100, the FI setup/best way to go, whether or not a water air intercooler is the way to go or not, and any other general advice that could be thrown my way.

Ok so here is the bike as it is now

And with out fairings & fuel tank plus dummy turbo sat in there for a reference.

The fuel tank rear rests on top of the air box

What is the space like in front of the motor and under the rear of the sump/swingarm , too much heat up top like OZ said...
Nice big area for that water/air intercooler built into the plenum though

Booster, spot on.

DC, Like Booster said, better to go with an intercooler there just before the carbs and feed air into it instead of the airbox. Also gives room to build a plenum in place of the airbox as well.

Well the Bimota is for sale if someone comes up with the cash....but i am thinking it will be a long shot on anyone wanting to pick it up for the dollars i am asking.
And the Intercooler and plenum were alwyas goign to go where the airbox was just wondering were to put the turbo, i had thought where i had it in the pictures, but as you both said i think heat is always going to be an issue, but i liked the idea of it out of the road and nicely tucked away, sort of sleeper style.......
oh and the heat thing, well with the way it is now, it is like riding a BBQ, but it would get worse i agree........
