fuck, i got a friend did something similar but involved an asian and a printing machine.. he can still ride but his missus won't let him touch her with that hand cos the fingernails still grow out the end of the stumps/fingers and freaks the fuck outta her.

All I have to say is that if he has the presence of mind (and the nuts) to get three fingers sawed off with a chain and sprocket, and then pull out his phone whilst walking around waiting for the ambulance...I want him on my side in a scuffle! I would have been curled up in fetal position crying like a little girl with a skinned knee, sucking my remaining thumb!

^Shock is a wonderful thing mate! My old boy had a finger chopped off in a guillotine years ago, he rekons he looked at it & could see the rings of skin,flesh,bone & marrow and it took ages to bleed or hurt coz he was in so much shock!

bloke from data express (melb m/cycle couriers) did the same, was off for 4 wks,, 1st day back the radio guy calls him,, no answer,, then he says oi! fingers! and a new nickname was born, ah the loving bosom of the courier world
