As part of buying a complete running newer bike the minister had decreed that the project bike would be sold to pay off some debt and clear up the shed if i wet through with the purchase.
so here it is..
Parting out now
1982 KZ750-P1 (GT750) shaft drive
Engine:
* Wiseco 810 big bore kit
* 30 thou off the head
* new timing chain when built
* OEM gaskets = fucking expensive
* conversion from mech advance to electronic.
* unifilter pods on the Mikuni BS34 carbs.
* altered zx750 pipes to fit + cut down yoshisold
* Dyna Green 3 ohm coils.sold
* new clutch plates not long ago.
* later model zxr750 base engine included(bottom half of case stuffed) for the chain drive components if you want to convert it to chain. i have a spare head, barrels, cams, sump in a box too.
pulled 72.8 rwhp on Ipswich Kawasaki dyno was a running lean and the old dodgy mech ign advancer, i think jetted correctly and running through i chain it would get close to 85 rwhp
needs a bit of jet work and float adjustment to get running right.
Frame/suspension/bodywork
* 2007 Hayabusa forks with good tyre, callipers and steering dampener. sold
* Reikon fat bars and fat bar risers.sold
* later model kawasaki tank, few dents, outside has been taken back to bare metal and etch primed, didn't get to the underneath yet.
* the old forks and wheel will be included if wanted, they also have ADR aproved braided lines that i was going to fit to the busa forks.
* Acewell dash.sold pending payment
* 01 R1 seat and tail unit in the process of being glassed up to single seat + brand new R1 undertray to suit.
* 05 R1 rearsets.sold
* Fournales gas shocks kinda funky train spotter type things if you get my drift. sold
* gillera scooter headlight with E stamp.
If you can picture it the grand plan was to make a tray under the seat to mount all the electrics, de lug the area behind the engine where the side covers go, convert the engine to chain drive and fit something along the lines of a bandit swinger. with single shock conversion.
if you have a read of my build in the "your rides" section you will see the ups and downs of the build.
located out Ipswich way
