Rod: Funny how easily city-people freak out ;) I've seen dust storms before in the US, but some of my neighbours were near tears freaking out to the point of being near tears..

Dust storms are a part of Summer in the country. Nothing like when it rains mud.

mate i live on the edge of the little desert and as soon as we get wind we get a dust storm so its about once every 2 weeks i reckon and lol at the freaks :D

i'll admit judgement day did cross my mind when i walked out to the car to see everything red, then i realised it was just dust and i would still have to go to work lol.

It wasn't too bad by the time I got to it, I was in Rocky when it came in and heading south came across it between Gin Gin and Miriam Vale around Granite Creek, but it wasn't really worth noting by the time I got back to Brisbane last night. Shame really, I reckon I missed it good...
