Well I am keeping the Z750, but I wanted a trailbike/something to tinker with.
I found my candidate -
A 1971 Yamaha CT175.

I had a very tight budget & this one fit the bill.

Ratty old dirty stinky thing, has a bit of a wiring issue but it runs.
I am going to clean it up a bit so I don't catch tetnus & see what happens after that, already thrown an old pair of Renthals on.

Fixed the electrics & took her for a run, about 1km from home noticed a bit of a metallic noise in the bottom end.

Decided to investigate, pulled the clutch cover off & she shit out the remains of a needle bearing, washer, circlip & a few teeth.
It appears the idle gear has meet with some foul play.
What a fucken mess..............
Gonna cost me about $60.00us in parts.[V]
