Ive got $5k....maybe $7k if Im real careful in the next few weeks.

I loved my last GSXR750, corona model.

My partner has been involved in some bike accidents so doesnt want to ride, but wants to pillion. She is 6ft and .... just no! lol

Thats the dilemma!

Possible solutions:

1. Get an older gixxer 750 and an older big bike (cbr1000f). Rego would really suck though and not much around SA, would have to import and so costs would come to nearly $10k and that may not be doable for 6 months or more.

2. Get an older big bike, like the cbr1000f and spend a couple of grand fightering it up to lose weight, new forks, maybe new swingarm, etc. Just not sure if there would be a lot I can do...and Id still be down on power and up on weight. Maybe look at putting a turbo on as a later project.

Oh yeah, a little extra information may be required:
she is a REAL good pillion :)

so...thoughts?

sa's easy for rego changes mate only 50 for the id check and then three mnths rego, can't see you spending 3k on a courier. grab a sled in vic or nsw jump on a plane for 50 and bobs your uncle ride it home cheap as. And buy a zx9 cheapest optio by miles but if you need to have a suzuki than I can't blame you for your faults we all have em

ring a few dealers, see what they got, you wont need to go interstate to find something unless you want a specific bike.

remember cash talks!

all of those look pretty reasonable. :)
Im still kind of liking the idea of doing up (or down?) a cbr1000 though.
