The Xjr takes a 12v 12amp/Hour.
Question is, Could I use 2 12v 6ah's linked together..?
I am trying to find the smallest workable solution.

that would work if they were wired in parallel [no doubt a leecy will correct me if im wrong ]that would give you 12v and the amps you need //in series gives you 24v at 6ah i think

theory is great huh, practise is something different, you could possibly get away with 10AH hooking two together [u]</u>should[u]</u>get you 12 AH but that is reliant on connections and batteries and does not nessesarily work in practice.

I'd be more worried about cold crankin amps than a/h

Ah is how long you can leave stuff on or the bike off before it goes flat. Cca or cold cranking amps is the good stuff. That is how much current is available for doing work when you hit the starter.

If you will be riding it often, or have it on a charger, get a 6ah battery with at least as many Cca for a small solution.
