Bike on Bikepoint

Hi guys,

Im in SA and have seen this bike and sent an email to the owner. Im pretty interested in it, but was wondering if anyone knows of the bike or owner at all and has any comments?

My next step will be to find a kwaka mechanic in Melbourne that can check it out for me....anyone know of someone trustworthy?

I'd be asking what the frame stickers are covering up....the fact it has crash bungs on the rails makes me suspicious....

good point on the frame, I hadnt considered that. Its obvious its been in some sort of accident (though the owner didnt admit to it) and I agree the fightering is more half arsed that you would expect from an enthusiast...but I figured at least its halfway there and I can finish it off.

What wouldnt pass RWC on it? is it just the plate location (looks like it would be a PITA to move that)? The indicators would be a touchy point but Ive got away with them being that close before.

I think Ill drop it. Too many questions and its too far away for me to be able to really check it out for myself.

id find out why its unregistered and get the vin details
