Pitbike?

I'm thinking of investing in one of those shitty chinese pitbikes for shits and giggles.

I know that some of you guys have them. Can you recommend a brand to buy or maybe steer clear of?

Would one of these be any good?

the Lifan engined ones seem to be pretty plentiful and spares are cheap as

i spose u get what u pay for . as jimmi said the lifan engined one's a good . just make sure u go over the nuts n bolts after every ride . they have a habit of vibrating out

The Thumpstars are one of the oldest and best brands. Stoney Creek Motorcycles used to be agent for them.

ok mr large i have had plenty of experience with pit bikes and i can tell you that imo lifan ones are just as shit as the rest of the stuff you will find on ebay if you want a good one you will pay for it mate the dhz pro's are an awsome machine and i would highly recomend a motovert that one you posted will prob last you around a month of riding every weekend this is the sorta bike i would be looking for if i was you not cheap though

this is the next choice it has a lifan engine but its defintly one of the better ones for durability and also very easy to maintain

i got 2 chinese 250cc quads. fuckin GAY ass fuck piece of shit fuckin fucks FUCK.
okay the engines are quite good, no problems (yet)
but what kinda fuckin asshole makes a quad that u can barely adjust a chain on.. that kind of doesnt matter anyway because the way the swing arm is designed, as soon as u hit a decent bump, the chain goes slack about 5 inches and comes off anyway!

frames are shit as too. and if mini/pocket bikes of the same nature are anything to go by (4 of them in bits here), be prepared to have it fly apart.
good for the youngins, or for all you piss heads to lose some flesh on. but don't buy anything chinese with wheels hoping it will last. I think they are the opposite, if they DO go to work drunk the might accidently make one that stays together!

For shits and giggles you can't go wrong with spending 500 or so bucks no matter what the make. They're all chinese shit made of cheese. Just different quality cheese.
