unfortunatley the mrs has nicked the pc and im on my lappy instead,
so only have a few pics stored on photobucket

so i'll wet some apetites lol

the bike as it was when i got it,
with a bandit type headlight and some huge piece of shit plastic screen thing fitted, light etc came right off soon as it was out the van
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/sideflag-1.jpg

*NOTE*
please excuse the crap quality of pics,
as im using my PDA's camera
polishing etc is far brighter than shown - but we dont get the friggin sun you lot get to show it to its best ;)

a few subtle touches have been done,
like the rear light has had its markings removed and lens repolished
and the underguard at the rear has been hacked to make it minimal
with new bracket added
rear light before:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/rearlightprior.jpg

rear end side view:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/rearendsideview.jpg

and a shot of the rear light after de-marking & polishing
(note nos bottles are fitted either side)
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/rearshot.jpg

bottles are 100% level its just the pic that makes em look like theyre pissed;)
and just incase readers of this from AU are thinking the polishing is crap,
thats coz here in blighty it always rains and the sky is grey
all polishing looks like this ;)

speedo was missing prior to me having the bike,
so i thought id try something different to the usual 'digi-clocks' route
PDA with GPS inbuilt, running gps speedo
usual PDA functions still work of course
advantages i now have tom-tom sat nav & 3 different gps speedo progs at hand,
plus being an admin myself,
being @a rally is no excuse for slacking responsibilites to the sites members
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/blinggadget.jpg

and a few to show the bike as it is sort of
(nos main arming button fitted into breather hole in topnut of gsxr-usd forks topnut
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/shrink-nosarmbutton600x450.jpg

paintwork done using rattle-cans only
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/diypaintusingspraycans.jpg

and front wheel polished & deseamed
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/frontwheel.jpg

and a crap shot of front end showing new headlight
(yamaha 125 version of the fz-1, item unavailable in uk even if order direct from yam-uk)
amazing what fits in suitcases on way back from india
bargain buy circa £9brand new from main dealers
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y223/gatecrasha/withdragbars.jpg

all work so far by myself
although the paint is now going off to be airbrushed up,
the guy is a true artist
so as such, what he paints is what he wants to paint
which allows him to use his artistic talents to their best

bloody addictive these efe's
what started as a tickle to tidy it,
is evolving into a full on build in its own right

Aha, that answers the question in your other post. Looking good mate. Get her off the computer and get some decent photos up.
