That R1 is fucking amazing. There's some superb variations on SF coming through, nice cafe racers etc - thats a cool example

I think it's a lot to do with the big back wheel.

I'd have the chook chaser though ! Maybe with a front brake as well.

After mulling on this for a few weeks I've decided that this is indeed 'the goods'. I've been looking and I reckon you could do a relatively cheap and simple streettracker from a SV650 auction bike, preferably the square framed model. It just so happens my grandfather has one of those unused in his shed (at 75 he doesn't ride much anymore) so I can feel a cunning plan coming on......
