Im flattered that they used my bike in their ad, & it's not like they are claiming they built it, they are just trying to flog a part of theirs that I used on my bike.
No they didn't ask permission but to be honest I don't care.
It's like people asking whether they'll be paid for having their bike featured in a magazine, rather than feeling honoured for the privilege.
