the way he has painted the bike i would say and thats the way i usualy paint all my bikes hillsy the only 2 bikes i have done properly are the kwack and predator

lazy or smart???? have you ever pulled an engine out of one of these dinosaurs??? honda alots 6 hours to remove the motor.

HEAVY POS and fisically large and awkward. Try get it back in with out scratchin it too.

when the thing is stripped down that far its only going to take an extra 10 mins to pull it out. i vote lazy.

Engine heavy yes.
But at that stage it would have been very easy to loosen the mount bolts, lay it on its side and then lift the frame off the engine.
I go with lazy.
Reverse the procedure for installation to avoid damage to new paint on engine and frame.
