Ok here's me question, I purchased the bike a couple of months ago, bike itself cost me $700 but all up on road bout $1800 buckaroonies and as this forum has so many talented and intelligent ppls here :D:D;) just wanted to know are there any inherent problems with this make and model of bike? I do feel comfy when I ride it, it also seems to play hard well for my current ability that is anyway [:o)]thanx for any knowledge you pass on to me.......

mate, check these boys out here http://exupbrotherhood1.com/phpbb2/index.php if u want to find out about problems etc this is the place to go. THey handle the older Yamahas such as the fizzers and the older YZfs. Good luck.

I got a 94 YZF600, seems like a really good thing, I am using it as a track bike ATM, very reliable and easy to ride. Havn't heard of any common problems.

Problems u may get on the fzr are most likely to be carby related, after that ur exup valve could be playing up. One thing i will recommend is to head down to your local subaru parts dealer and buy "subaru upper engine cleaner" $17 dollars for the can. This stuff is amazing and will get right into your engine and clean out the carbon build up you will no doubt have. I put some into my carbs and let it through my engine and i can honestly tell you that in the year and half ive had my bike it has never performed this well. 3 thumbs up.
