Hi all, I live central coast queensland (gladstone). I'm currently working on my R1 09 (Big Bang). Its mind blowing mid range and bottom end now. I also have a R1 06 (yellow 50th) my first love. I don't have or owned a street fighter, but if it has two wheels i'll work on it & ride it!! always trying to find more horses...
The 06 has 160RWHP
The 09 had 160RWHP out of the box, hoping to get it around the 180 mark, after i'm done.[:p]

Welcome to the nuthouse mate. Not many bolt on bits needed, just rearrange them a bit. Get the 06 nekid with flat bars and start there. Could be fun keeping the front end down with flatties.

This part of the woods gets me good ideas mate & there's some awesome looking machines here!! Yeah, I have been getting an itchy palm to do more to the 06, but i have to finish the 09 first. I thought about lowering, six inch extension swing with a 280 tyre & a blower for the 06. But yeah... still haven't gone threw with it yet?! Either that or I sell it & look for another project? maybe a k6 or a busa? But the black is staying clothed for a good while yet...

Welcome mate, nice bikes and as much as I like fighters I wouldn't do it to the 06 I am pretty sure they are still worth about the same money they were worth when they sold (mate of mine has one and it is insured for market value around 18k) I will probably be corrected by one of this lot but those bikes could well go up in value in years to come.

looks like there is still enough room in the shed for another bike if you don't wanna strip those 2. The naked R1 in the gallery pictures is hot
