Howdy folks! Been a while since I threw up any progress pics of the bike but I'v slowly been at it for the last 2 or 3 months, so here's where im at...

Started the break down.

Once that was all apart n the engine out, the frame needed a bit of a clean b4 I sent it off to powdercoaters.
Thought I'd get the girly in on the action seein as she wasnt at work that day LOL

While the frame n shit was out getting the powder coat I cleaned up the engine n gave it a nice fresh coat of wrinkle paint black!

The photo's were a bit shithouse but u get the idea!

Finally got my shit back from the coaters about a month after I dropped it in.

The rims were supposed to b a dark grey (almost gun metal) but came back lookin a few shades darker than primer [V] I rekon they'l work tho! Dnt look nearly so bad with tires n shit on em!

Put my tripples back together n test fitted the new bars n grips!

So all in all its been an awesome experience even if it gets fuckin frustrating at times! The only big things left to do is a re-spray n get around to sorting out my headlight. Apart from that its jst the usual little finnishing off bit n pieces! I should have it done intime for MotoGP in october if all goes to plan! Hopefully my tax return will show up soon! :D

Bingo Rod! ISR radials, fully adjustable with inbuilt reservoirs! The bar clamps have the switchgear in em too!
Got em off ben, he also had them anodized 4 me coz ISR dont sell them in colours...

Bloody neat work Lance and I'd definately stay with the grey , just as EFE said make em the feature with a bit of rim tape or even get some stickers cut to sit on the inside of the rim ( GSXR 7/11 ) or something it doesnt have to be even related to the bike , maybe even TUFF CUNT or something else like that ;)

I think you hit the nail on the head there customfighterer. Having other details in a matching colour will compliment the rims nicely and make it look less like just another mat black bike with gay wheels...

Yeh the slash cut is brutal! We put it on the dyno @ motoGP, when I rode it up the operator looked at me, shook his head n went n got some ear plugs LOL!

Jst spent 20mins chatting to my spray painter @ lunch time!
Everything goes in on Monday, he should have some samples sprayed up by then n he can get to work!

My POS camera cant do the paint justice, its a one off 'flat' pearl white! Took him a bit to get it right but it is bang on! Exactly what I was after! He's never seen it done b4 & was super impressed with the result!

As u can see, the exhaust is on as is the radiator. I still need to drill some holes in the bottom mount for he rad b4 thats finished off tho.
The forks were a real tight squeez into the tripples but we got there! I also had to file a poofteenth of the rear brake carrier to make the rear all fit together nicely again. But its done now & I am fuckin stoked! Had a mate swing round this arvo who is goin to rewire the entire thing too, no more chopped up loom! Itl be all nice n neat! Still waiting on my seat to come back from the upholsters tho, n I need a few more bits n pieces but its certainly coming together![^]
