Hi, got my "new" carbs today, anyone know a good tuner for them in bris? Going on a ZZR1100 fitted with ZZR1200 engine and GSXR coils.

I work on Bris south and live on Bris west. I would prefer these area's or in between but will go further if they are the best.

Thanks Steve.

Why don't yopu try Skip's Performance mate? Even if he doesn't do it I'm sure he'll know someone. He's in Yatala.

Had my bandit dynoed at Start Line Racing on Moss St Slacks Creek.
They did a pretty good job, the graft was perfectly lineal after jetting, where as before jetting it was all over the joint. They set up alot of super bikes. I had it done 2yr ago, and was $400 to dyno, was a bit to pay,and i`m sure there maybe cheaper around, but in all honesty, i didn`t search real hard, after talking to the guys, and saw some of the race bikes they had there, i didn`t search any further. With a k&n filter and yosh pipe, i gained another 18bhp,and another 10 foot pound of torque in the mid range, which is a vast improvement from standard.

Hey Bro, I've got the GS turbo in at skips atm getting the new mikuni HSR sorted out on the dyno, and you know how fussy i am with mechanics. I'm off to Sydney tommorrow so wont be picking it up till end of week but i'll let you know how it goes. Probably drop those pantry's off this weekend if you'll be home?

I use Carb Tech at Redcliffe for the ute. Good service and pricing. No mucking around and if they can't don't or won't do it they'll be able to point you in the direction of someone who does.

Startline in moss st have been around for yrs so they must be doing something right as well. They've never been overly user friendly in the pricing department, but if they know their stuff, I guess you're getting what you're paying for aren't you? Knowledge and the ability to use it correctly don't generally come cheap.

Whent to superbike dynotune 20 smith street capalaba 07 3245 2598. $300 for labour @ $88/hr, $120 for jets + tax. They had it almost 2 weeks and just squeezed it in between other jobs, great sevice and the mech came out for a chat afterwards.

Came back at 130.62rwhp and 77.23ft/lb torque. Almost perfect AF. I don't know the original output from the 1200, as it was fitted to my bike with the FCR's. Untuned was 105hp and pretty fat.

I have only ridden it from capalaba to ipswich but it feels very responsive. The dyno sheet does not have rpm on it but I can post it for anyone interested. The induction noise sounds good, now its tuned the slides don't rattle so much.

Engine came from Sydney, Coils from Poway California, Carbs from Somewhere else I can't remember in Cally. It all went together pretty easy and started first wind of the starter. I just have to mod the airbox ram feed and there should be a little more in it.
