Gotta try it out in the daytime.

Comes with heaps of mounts n shit, bought a handlebar one with it for extra.
with the 16gig SDHC card I have I can record about 4hrs of footage.
waterproof, shockproof etc. Now I can add footage to the "chronicals of BOB" archives.wuheeeyyyy!

in the highest quality mode its VGA 640x480 26fps. also depends on the card speed, mines a class 6 (about 10mb a sec) but class 4 also work, just might be a bit choppy.
I watched these vids, to compare it to the VholdR and ATC#k cameras I wanted to buy.
looked like the XC was way better

www.tachyoninc.com.
$149 USD. but depends on what you get with it when you go to checkout (I then used a converter to figure out the AUD price. I Actually over estimated too, when I paid with paypal it was shitloads cheaper!

I especially like the privacy feature, where u can disable all warning beeps and recording lights. will come in handy.. not that I'll be gluing it to my shoe or anything hehe

Quality, Price, size, memory, build quality etc are all worth considering,
but my main interest is "How Quick can I clear the memory if i need too!"

hey M,the camera looks good, the question is that when i viewed the clip you posted it was very jerky.i hope thats only the clip.the sound quality of the y2k i have is poor but the video is good.ive heard about a pair of sun glasses with a pin hole camera, sound and quality video for under $300 you just download it to your computor.

jerkyness is due to my head bobbing and jiggling around and the effed up roads that caused it, and it was my first test so i would've needed to look at keeping a steady head.

Whip the back of it open and push a pin or something in the little hole called "sd card format" :P.
Wont save you if they use file recovery programs back at the station though.

Okay. I picked a spot in the video where I could get the most amount of movement at different distances.
I didnt have time to get on the bike today but I will tomoro. vid quality will probably be alot more SHITE (bumps) cause I'll be mounting it hopefully on the front fairing bracket behind the guages.

well i mounted it to the bracket on the bike and its as rough as fuck.. anyone got any pics on how to mount it to your helmet, I don't trust double sided tape, and can't zip tie it anywhere so I'm probaby going to have to tape the helmet mount on the side of my lid and use that.

you get the 3m velcro tape with the kit, it works you just have to push it hard to clip into itself, it is all that i used for the helmet remember that you need to let the glue harden or you'll have what happened to mine when i mounted it to the swingarm.

Yeah got the velcro strips. kind of DONT trust em but... only other option I saw was some dude drilling a hole into his helmet!!hmmm... I'll give it a crack. use something to catch it if it wobbles off.My luck I wouldnt know till it was run over about 40 times

You can trust them aslong as you got full purchase on both strips on my helmet it was fine but when i mounted it to my swingarm i used the general mount it didn't allow full purchase, and came off at $1.60 and i didn't know until i got to the end of the road and checked, went back over the road and found it all fcuked to all hell, run over multiple times.
