Maiden run today.
Boost wound right back to about four psi while running it in, currently about 4psi according to the guage.
The idle is all over the place and it's a bit rough off the bottom but cleans up with a bit of throttle and pulls cleanly.
Maybe float levels ?

Makes way cool noises when you close the throttle.
Not the BOV whoosh noise, the rally car ch-ch-ch-choo.

Some electrial gremlins to sort too.

Pretty happy

Not the GS but we could turn your GPZ into AA/MB, I reckon 280hp-300hp could be done safely. :D After the 1500cc GSX turbo is done ofcourse ;)

Just gotta sort out why my neutral light thinks it's my oil pressure light and my oil pressure light thinks it's supposed to stay on all the time.
My indicators think they are hazard lights and my new tacho isn't doing any fucking thing.

Any advice on why it carburates rough down low would be usefull. I assume normal rules don't apply with boosted carbs ?
Or do they ?

Sycronizing your carbs should fix the rough idle. Just do them as you would with N/A carbs.

hmmm tricky that. The synchronizer nipples are filled with araldite.
I guess because the carbs need to be sealed completely off from atmosphere.

Yeah I'm pretty keen to scare some sportsbikes. As long as there's no corners :(

The biggest slut of all is that I go away for work on Wednesday for three weeks so I can't even ride the fucking thing !

As it is, i'm scared to ride it until i can be sure I have correct oil pressure (see tech section thread)

Might look at upgrading the brakes next rocket. Those old four pots were not meant to pull up over 200hp. Just a suggestion for your safety mate.

Great job on the bike, nice and tidy. you gotta let us know how she goes when she's run in. you should get to know the front tyre pretty well, seeing that it wont be on the ground much. Three weeks, no bike.....Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Tail looks good too. i like it!!
