Redbook.com.au say $4,900-$5,800, probably a bit high than what you'd expect to pay.

I've got a 1990 GSXR750L model in Black/Silver that is in pretty good nick that I am looking at moving on. Was thinking $4250 for it. Has a no-name pipe on it but otherwise pretty stock. Looks like that'd be a fair price then.

Well I went and had a look at it, it's a little rough around the edges but runs ok. This is the link to it if anyone else is interested, he has had one offer on it to date. I'll see how I go with the minister for war and finance this evening.

Fairing is bogged up, pipe burnt a hole in it.
Brake is firm but goes all the way to the grip.
All panels have cracks, chips and scrathes.
To dints or scratches in frame or tank.
No RH Mirror, dodgey blinkers.
After market carbon can, complete with scratches.

Where are you looking to get the 88 GSXR? I can only get the 89 and up GSXR750R and Grey Imports (??)

The 89 R is valued at $4-4800....And the Grey Imports don't have values (???)

He wanted $3k, some guy had offered him less, dunno how much less, but I think he'd have taken $2.5k for it, there was plenty of renovations happening and the wife had told him it had to go.....hahahha... I have bailed on it, I'll put the money into my K5 instead....so many bikes so little cash.
