Ben... that was a gift brought down to motivate you! ha I just felt that I wasn't quite enough to get you over the line! haha
Surt... sadly (for my bike and all my friends) I am not onboard... Although my bike will remain a 2 seater for all those nurses out there that want a ride! :D

Well Steves bike is nearly finished. Here's a few pics for you.
It looks & sounds wild going down the road.
Stuff done includes. Rear mount Turbo kit ( possibly a first on this model), with BXP Billet Plenum & fuel rail, BXP Lockup clutch( fitted in behind the stock cover),240 tyre & 18 x 8.5" wheel conversion,5 spoke front wheel conversion, Buzz Saw disks, lots of custom machined bits & pieces.
So far it's only been tuned properly to 6 psi boost but makes a very healthy 180rwhp, we've just fitted Dyna coils ( they run 2 twin coils on this model) due to weak spark issues under boost, once we go back to the dyno we should be able to boost it to around 9-10 psi safely. It's awesome to ride stock comp means great throttle response & with the turbo mounted back a bit the power delivery is very linear.[8D]

Lookin good Ben, that turbs is a long way down the system, any lag issues?
EXBEN
22-10-2009, 07:36 PM
Modern ball bearing turbos don't suffer lag like early turbos.
Probably starts spooling slightly later than a front mount ( only a few hundred revs) but it just adds to the linear feel...

Thanks for nothing now i have to change the design for mine.
Thats very nice. The ribs are a nice touch, good idea. I think the side covers should have been left off so the plenum can be seen.
So what format do i send you a file for quoting:D
