Surely a Streetfighter can not be mass produced,
its a contradiction in terms ?

A bit like a mass produced one-off,
or a brand new antique ?

Its no secret that it was only sales of the Monster range that stopped
Ducati sinking AGAIN pulling them back from bankruptcy and many expect
to see a Ducati cruiser soon to take on the BK, V-Max, etc.
So it no suprise to see the "Streetfighter."
Its seems their Sportsbikes dont make the books balance.

One of the local shop's has a demo bike in, was talking to them
on Sunday at the show and they told me to come around and see them.

........ I managed to break the last Ducati Demo bike I got to play with...;)

Why do they persist with the twin side pipes???? They look shithouse, weigh more, they've already got a heap of pipes made that exit under the tail..
A two into one is too hard?? It would be more in keeping with the
'factory streetfighter' they are trying to present..
I'd have the one parked next to it though,[black 1198, in Tony's photo] if I wanted another Duc........

hey if you all noticed I put 'Streetfighter' with the little hyphens LOL........ I know they are just trying to break into a market that they haven't yet...and i agree they have missed the whole point of a streetfighter... but I thought I'd put it up anyway....hey at the very least you can go and ride it and get a free giggle?? heheheheh, I knew some would hate it some would love it.... :-) :-)

Here's another reason not to buy a Ducati.

The cunts have pulled all advertising for life from a certain Australian Performance bike magazine and banned them from testing any new models for life, because a columnist for the magazine wrote that a factory Ducati can't be a true streetfighter.
