Here's a pic of the problem.. I need to modify (or get made) the tank so it's a bit shorter, but try to extend somewhere as to not lose too much fuel storage. Any suggestions / experiences appreciated..

Shave about 3" off the back to line it up . There are some tricks to bump the capacity back up but from my research they look Butt Ugly . Should only loose about 2-3 liters at most .

I also have the "W" series tank, which one you reckon would be better to work with?

Would have to have a proper look first . Am off to Bonneville on August 21st and back on September 7th .
