View Full Version : nsr150sp engine conversion?

hey guys does any one know how hard it would be to drop a larger engine into the nsr 150. i was thinkin of an old xl250 its for my girlfriend i would use the original engine but it has a cracked water jacket.any ideas or help would be great

Go XR over XL if you have a choice and add an oil cooler.

nsr 150 is a bored out CR125 .
Is the crack in the bore?

I wouldn't do it for the simple reason that those things crack frames with the standard 2bhp 150 motor.

yea its through the cylinder and as for the frame cracking it sounds like a chalenge
