Wouldn't it be good if it enveloped you completely like a ball, then you may be able to roll all the way home once you come off, to get the trailer and pick up the bike of course.

how does the suit know when to activate?

If it is anything like the jackets that have been around for a while then it has a lanyard but you have to go a certain distance and give it an almighty pull thats why it doesn't just happen by accident, the theory is that you just walking away from your bike will not be enough force to set it off.

^^ you have to insert an anal probe before you zip it up. When your sphincter tightens, poof goes the jacket.
