Anodising To Polish or Not To Polish

I quite like the cnc machine marks on my new yokes...makes them look more industrial than the bling bling smooth polished look..[xx(]
I will be getting them hard anodised in gun metal/black colour.
I'm guessing its like chroming...whatever marks are there will show up after they have been coated.

The marks will show up more so than with Chroming, chroming puts a thick layer of silver magic stuff on top whereas anodizing is just a chemical reaction and dying process
