View Full Version : New addition to the garage - CBR400

Bought myself a little 92 CBR400 to turn into a trackbike for the princely sum of $1800.

It's been a bit neglected, but it's reasonably good nick. Needs new tyres and a suspension rebuild, but once I get that done it'll be out to Oran Park for a blast. Just need to fix the plastics up a tad to get through scrutineering. Might have to bodgy-up some brackets to hold it steady, scrutineers tend to not be overly fond of zip-ties.

I've been racing a NC29 for a few years so drop me a line. There's a few of us here with good stashes of race parts and there's a lot of knowledge amongst the guys

consider subscriing to the australian 400 racing list at http://mail.thebiggame.com.au/mailman/listinfo/400racing_thebiggame.com.au and have a look at the 400 greybike forum (UK based but very useful)

Cheers for the mailing list, and I've already signed up for the 400greybike forum. Do you know of anyone in Australia making NC29 race glass?

I can find out easily enough. I put CBR600RR glass on last time it needed replacing as it's eaier to get and gives it a more modern look
