Hi everyone, thought i'd post some new pics of the bike.
Have recently added rim tape, few decals, flush-mount rear blinkers, chopped down the rear hugger, threw on some MCS mirrors, and added some air scoops/flutes to the radiator shrouds. Don't really improve the cooling that much, but going for something that looks a bit different.

I suppose the end result is a bit fighter/race, but i'm happy with it at the moment. cheers

Noice mate! I had n 04 Z750 that I wrote off about 18months ago! I loved the thing tho hey, suspension was its main dwn fall IMO but im a big fat cunt! Put n 06 ZX6R rear shock in it which helped a bit but, also lifted the arse end a bit...
Keep up the good work! ;)

Have you got aftermarket rearsets on that?

Nice looking machine! If I had to buy a naked bike off the show roon floor, these or the Z1000 would be the choice of weapon! I seen a mates 09 Z1000 tonight, and fuck, it is nice!

Thanks for the comments guys, yeah the shrouds do improve the cooling now (not that it ran hot before) cruising on the highway it now sits on 70 degrees.

I finally got off my ass and got it dynotuned, heaps better fuel economy now, but not cut to the limit (didn't want her running too lean) peaked on one run at 110hp but made an average of 102hp at the wheel, not bad for a zx9 motor, bored out to a 1000 for the Z1000, then sleaved down to a 750, with no ram air.

cheers guys

No mate, just the standard Z750 ones. They might look a little higher because of the angle of the shot. They are different to the Z1000, they have seperate pillion pegs, cos there's no twin mufflers.

cheers, if your a fan of the Zeds, don't ride the Z1000 unless you can afford the extra $$$ cos you'll want one, i test rode an 09 Z1000 last week, not a huge difference to ride;more refined with the suspension and a bit heavier, but that extra torque makes for fun power wheelies!!!!(i don't like clutching up) if i ever sell mine i'll be on the hunt for a Z1000. Will be eagerly awaiting the new shape for next year aswell.
cheers

Hi all, just put up some updated pics of the Zed, few changes- ditched the rim tape and bellypan stickers, thought there should be more bare metal so polished the rims. My mates told me they couldn't see my rear flush-mount blinkers so i put on a set of mini clears. Decided the old girl had been battered with enough stone chips, so she got a respray (hence the new tank stickers) there's actually a faint Blue Pearl on the black, i didn't want it too bright and glittery.

Oh, and i fitted a ZX6 shock. I still cant afford to upgrade the front to USD forks, but i'll probably upgrade the fork springs to Hyperpro Progressives, and some new fork oil.

enjoy, cheers
