Can any one PLEASE help before I go insane ? I have fitted a clock unit from a Gpz1100 (large speedo, small tacho) but the rev counter seems a bit slow and the volt meter switch doesn't work....probably 2 related issues but I really need a wiring diagram. And no, the manual club site doesn't appear to list it.

Hi Sharky, I remember downloading a GPZ1100 wire diagram from kzrider.com

If it's not in the current forum, do a search in the archive forum...

Sorry Gix....

Right, Done some checking and it looks like all Kwacks use the same 3 colours for +,- & + pulse so I'm guessing either the volt meter/tacho switch is stuffed or the whole unit is rooted.

good luck...

My old zed electrics pissed me off... So I ripped them all off, put on a pushbike speedo and re-wired it myself.

Thanks mate. I'm gonna use the guts out of the gsxr tacho with the busted needle and graft it in.
