Heya guys,
I am currently building a 81 1100 kat. Have kept it looking fairly original with the exception of 180 rear, heaps of engine mods, paint, polishing etc...
I want to upgrade the old single pot calipers to 4 or 6 pot versions and was wondering if anyone knew of any off the shelf conversions. have toyed with making a adaptor bracket to fit a later model Gixer brake set, but not sure how that would hold up against a straight bolt on version to the standard front forks (if there is such a animal).
All help would be appreciated

My only suggestion would be to read more.

Hi rick ... you'll do better if you put this in the intro area and say hi there....

Kats are ugly as fuck and should all be burnt to the ground .. so ill save you the trouble and you can send it straight to me to do it for you..

Dont look too hard for Busa 6 pot's. They are pretty average.
Busa's need better pad's, lines and fluid to to get them safe IMO.
Having said that...they would probabley be a huge step forward on
a 28 year old Kat! I suppose Monster brakes would only move the
problem somewhere else though. Tyres? Forks? Suspension?

i'd have to agree, better brakes and then your fighting fork flex and average tyres

i'd go the whole front end route

Thanks for the feedback guys, and I appologise for the lack of protocol. You will hear more from me and will post some pics of the "Ugly as Fuck" Kat... I think she will surprise you.
