I'm trying to get the airbox out of my bandit.
Anyone got any hints or can tell me how please?

If it is anything like the GSXR's then easiest way is to take the Alternator out first (3 bolts)and possibly the rear fuel tank mounting bracket, once again this is assuming it is like the GSXR's.

Twist the airbox diagonally and down first in order to get the left side up and out. bob's your uncle.

Took my Katana one out with a Saber-Saw and a chisel.

They come out in one piece if you have a bit of patience.
I found it easier to take the carbs off as well (undo the airbox first and then slip the carbs off) this gets the airbox at a decent angle to be pulled out.

The "correct" way, as in, the one in the manual... Is to slide airbox back, remove carbs completely, then remove No1 and I think No 2 intake manifolds and slide out (or No 3 and 4 and slide out the other side).
It's a bastard to get out. That's why no one puts them back in! Dat's what pods are for! :)
