Its a good start now all you need to do is throw ridiculous amounts off money and wasted hours at it , to only find that your not quite happy with the end result so you do it all again , then your fighting;)......A blank canvas arent they beautiful.[:I]

Found time between the rain to get some more pics.... Enjoy.
I've done it on a pretty tight budget and happy with how its turned out. I think streetfighters look best without pretty paint work and stuff. Im a fan of the "backyard modified look"
Tell me again your thoughts on it guys....
Cheers

Looking good mate have you thought about painting the tank to match the tail? and maybe change the color of the pillion seat as well. Keep up the good work

Never truer words spoken ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Sell it now before you hock your kids, put your wife on the game, spend your rent money, and sell your wedding ring to pay for a single sided swing arm. Not that any of us would though dont ya know.

Dude, I see that you have rerouted the clutch cable through the frame. I tried that today and found it made the clutch lever harder to pull.
Did you notice that?

Pillion seat colour is a definate thing on the to do list but i kinda liked the idea of leaving the tank as a clue to what the bike was before its re-incarnation....
No kids or wife means i have the money to burn...
CBRRT- I really hadnt noticed any change to the lever feel. Maybe try a different route through the frame mate.

Its looking good, my only suggestions is think about trimming the tail plastic down a little, I think it'd look a hell of a lot more aggressive.

I reckon you would have to cut most of it off just to balance the bike out. It is very tail heavy at the moment:

Thats not a bad look Cruise.
I have an old cb250 rs duck tail laying around which i briefly played around with for a cafe racer kind of look....
It could use a trim or smaller unit, i agree its heavy looking, i'll see how long i can live with it... I think the angle is right tho.
Cheers guys

600 tail does suit, however you'll have to biuld a new subframe, original ones too fat.
heres a link to my build with the 600 tail.
P.S. your bikes looking good, like the single headlight.
