turbo 1100

does anyone know of any links that show whats involved in turboing a 1100 blackbird motor ? ive tried searching but keep failing. cheers

I think there's a Turbo Blackbird on Brissy South side,
guy who's a mechanic / Engineer down Daisy Hill / Shailer Park area.

Im no expert but from everything i've seen and heard,
i'd be using a injected not carb'd 'bird.

I've got a feature on that bike in a mag somewhere, i'm pretty sure its the bike mechanic at loganholmes bike, i'll see if I can find it.

Blackbird was the bike of choice to turbo before the busa, several manufactures made kits, Hahn, Mr Turbo, McXpress.
there probably still available, otherwise if your making it yourself, its not much different to any other bike , keep the turbo high for oil drainage,Garrett gt2860,2871 ,3071 or t3 60 ,t3 super 60 with 6X ar exhaustor similar size other brand turbo's would work ok
main thing is don't underestimate the fuel needs
