Had one about 20 years ago

Sound horn, very thirsty (6 x Carburetors) SMMMOOTTHH as Silk power nice handling heavy but weight is low from memory.

You wont find a decent one (twin shock) under $8k that needs no work/rebuild, the later monoshock version isn't as sought after or as good looking but can be found around the $5k mark for a decent bike.

Be warned the motor's are VERY costly to repair.

Always take the tank off to check the frame for dodgy repairs, it's a pressed steel stressed member design that is a bitch to repair properly.

added to that 6into 1 zorts will need a mortgage for a decent one [even more for the stock pipes ]they go through tyres chains sprockets and brake pads like there going out of fashion lol but ive never heard anything sound quite as sweet .....stick the lump in a harris frame [veritable rocking horse shit ]and its the bolloxs

Ive owned several rolladoors in my life and CBX's suffer badly from neglect. Cheap ones nearly always need shims and the costs a mint, gasgets and perishables cost the earth and the monoshock ones used a compressed air system similer to that found in modern baggers harleys just a million years older and almost always compleatly fucked out.

They are a serious enthusiasts bike and the reason you see more in europe and the US of Gay is simply that they didnt sell that many of them here.
If you are serious on building something on one your better off spending decent cash on a well cared for example and strpping off and selling what you dont want as parts command high prices on ebay.

Nsh it was sitting in a mates workshop, some friend of his was hiding it and a couple of triumphs from his <s>gold digger</s> missus. Turns out he had to sell it so my mate picked it up stupid cheap.
