I want to change the seat/rear end on my LTD750 to like this one:

I want to cut a couple of inches out of the length of my frame, but I'm not sure how close to cut to the rear shock mount. Can anyone assist?

as long as u make ur cut behind any bracing where the shock mount is, u will be fine, all the forces are toward the frame the rest is just there to hang crap from, id be happy to cut 10-20 mm behind the white dotted line, dont forget u will still need a crossover piece to stop it flexing , if u dont want to weld u could bolt 1 in,, good luck

Thanks heaps Davio - I'll give it a crack. I might cut it just in line with the front of the cross brace as the first cut - I can always cut off a bit more if I think it needs it eh?
