Is anybody else getting fucked in the eye with their insurance premium? I've had one low speed (under 30 MPH) ticket and one accident where my company didn't eve pay out that much and my insurance premium is still almost $500! It's only a 600 too, it's not like I'm riding a ZX12R! It's probably because of my damn age. (20)

I am also on the XJR Owners forum in the Uk and believe me THEY get fucked on insurance. Most of 'em are paying over 400 Pounds for FC...like $900....

Hey madmax i would be happy with that if you are riding a sport 600. I am amazed you got cover at all after making a previous claim. Over here i reckon you would be lookin at at a thousand at least depending on the age of the bike.

I gave up on the internet buying, they want too much info. I called a local agent, an older gentleman, that was easier to negotiate with than the computer. I got it down to $375 USD. That's with minimal coverage and no mods declared though...but hey, it's a rat bike. It's been to hell and back. If I bend it, I'll mend it.:D

Madmax your lucky with what your paying mate,i'm
paying 1000euros at the moment and its
only basic cover no fire or theft,if you were living
here at your age you'd be looking at around 2500 euros
a year for a 600.
