went to suzuki to order new conrod bearings for an 86 gsxr 750 and aparrently they are discontinued, you can get mains but not conrod bearing:(

Dose anyone know where i can get a set of conrod bearings that is 8 half shells (4top 4 bottom they are the same part number), ( they have to be the yellow coded ones )

Cheers Clive.

Clive looks like b and c size are still available in the US take these numbers to your dealer and try again
otherwise try a US dealer , if your not sure about buying OS i have contacts and can get some in for you
Yellow will be the odo i think , there is 1/2 of fuckall between the sizes , running one size loose or tight is not usually a problem (but do check the clearances)

thanks booster, those are measured sizes, not just taken of the old bearings, i have two other cranks so i will measure them and see what i can come up with.

Cheers Clive

ok using the crank that i measured for the motor ( i havent checked the others yet ) and by using 3-3 12164-17E01-0C0 BEARINGS the clearance is calculated to be at .052mm which is .004mm less than the upper standard clearance (.056mm), and .028 below the service limit (.080)
So by these calculations i should be ok to use the 3-3 12164-17E01-0C0 BEARINGS (brown)

What are your thoughts Booster,

Cheers Clive
