anyone after a 4wd suzuki sierra

I have a feeling this should be in the for sale section. but its not BIKE PARTS So I figured I'll post it here and if it gets moved then thats okay and I also apologise for being a douche.

Just picked up a Suzuki Sierra today. brought it all the way frikken home and the missus has gone spastic and I really don't have any room for it (had to get it out of a mates driveway cause his XA coupe arrived and his missus was furious too) so its like a PMS relay race.

Its barely got any rust, just some surface rust where theyv got a bit keen on the sanding on the edges that I can see so far. underneath is good. no rust in the floors that I can see.Just going off of what my mate told me a week ago. I can't be fucked laying in the mud to have a closer look, but will tomoro if its a bit drier.

Has all the running gear, transfer case, gearbox etc still bolted in
Has 3 motors, 2 of the 1L engines had issues, and I THINK a 1.3 rebuild that had water seep into 2 of the bores as it sat there waiting to be put in.
Needs a new windscreen, doors, tailgate, headlights and surrounds, some bits of trim, indicators etc.
and comes with a whole bunch of other parts, seals (for the hubs I think) and a $200 lift kit on the floor. havnt really gone digging thru it, just thought id get in while its still daylight.

Yeah I'm not keen on anything without a hard roof on it. My step father rolled a jeep when he was young and his sister died as a result of it. and as an adult was in a convertable when it flipped on the road coming into town. not fun. Missed out on a roll cage for the suzuki on ebay. I don't really want it if its going to be such a soft drink can if I flip it.
Got the details of the engines, All 1.3's a rebuild that got water in it recently from the rain (ontop of the pistons) an old runner, and a parts engine.
It will also give you +25 Nature, +5 water, +10 fire resistance if your into that sort of thing. pwning dirt n00bs and what not.


I have a mate who's been a member on outerlimits for years. hopefully hear back from him if anyones keen. I just can't be fucked with it. I don't have the room, and its highly likely if I keep another car the missus will lock the iron undies for an eternity.

Yeah Rod, I'm on outers too. There's a fair few cocks on there but it is still the best Aussie 4wd site by far. Heaps better than 4wdAction.


Boris, the site mainly caters more towards the hardcore wheelers but pretty much every make and model is represented, as well as a few tubeframe buggies. There's even a very slick ICV being built by a dude in QLD at the moment that he's going to desert race. I'm one of those guys that cracks a fat over custom automotive engineering regardless of what type of vehicle it is applied to.

I'm currently building a Suzuki Sierra LWB that's going to have hilux diffs, coil springs, air locked 4-link rear, welded 3-link + panhard front, 4AGZE engine, and an 8 point rollcage. I've got an engineer who's willing to sign off on it and a pile of bits in the garage waiting to go on. After that I'll start fucking with my GSXR.

I have a 62 series cruiser with 35 maxxis mudders front and rear ARB lockers 3 inch body lift and 2 inch spring lift WARN 9000LB winch on the front petrol the only thing that shits me is that it's fucking automatic which is awesome going uphill and on the beach but try coming down a hill fucking ass puckering

Autos fucking rock offroad IMO. You need to feather the brakes coming downhill and get lower gears if it bothers you that much. 60s are great. I did a springover on a mates a couple of years ago. Awesome vehicles and cheap too. Yours sounds like a winner.

we rolled 2 4bys on the long weekend an 88 odd model hilux (owned by my best man) with a v6 crummydore donk in it and a GU patrol with 35 inch simex centipedes both write offs

I didn't have a camera but there were about 40 blokes there and I reckon about 20 of them had cameras filming and photoing it not sure about the second one as it was 2 in the morning and most of these blokes are from brissy so now I'm waiting for the pics online will post as soon as I get them

Sorry dude, it's probably not worth more than a few hundred bucks. I bought one a little while ago that was running with rego etc. for $500. You may get more if you part it on egay or something though?
