Farken i was just about to put a post in the Save the AFR thread about this subject and why not as many people may see the topic, there is 18 Stickied threads in the "streetfighters" section alone, it would be much more manageable and show more importance with only 4-5 stickied threads, maybe make another section for clothing subjects like hoodies and shirts, that would move a few.

That's not a bad idea.

Otherwise, I was thinking maybe an "Announcements" or "News" subforum that only has these sort of posts

It's a combination of things. Time being the most obvious one. I get asked to sticky something and then it gets lost in time. Not only that I never go to the root level as I only have time to check active topics, so I personally never see the stickies. Definitely time for a clean out. A gear section is a good idea, as is a news section. Still too jet lagged to work it out now though so I'll get into it soon.

With all those stickies you can`t see enough live threads.
So you do`nt often see what you might want to comment on or add to.
