It wasn't a registered write off was it? Someone on here was selling one of them if I remember rightly.

Ah yes, new bikes. I should keep my gob shut on this subject, I have no idea about new stuff.

that 675 would be like ridin a pee wee 50 there so thin- just need to figure out how to get a charger on it for some real fun, but cutting up the twisties i dont think much would catch it

yes it was a repairable write off, 1500k's, i have riden them before & they are really touquey for a 675, pulls like a train in top gear from 50kph, i will keep looking for one for a fighter, but its looking like a new daytona 1000 will be out soon for some real grunt

I know someone that was bidding on that bike too, went way too expensive for the damage.new front end for sure but what condition was the frame in???

the frame looked fine but needed a new front fairing, folks, wheel?, speedo $1750, big money to put back to mint,
intresting the head bearings were gone, don't no if they had been taken out or fell out in the crash.

If i see bent forks and sloppy headstem my first thought is bent frame, older rwup smaller diameter forks would bend easily and not hurt the frame near as much as usd forks do.

you would be amazed what can be done with damaged bikes. a bloke here in adelaide (adril engineering) does frame repairs for a lot of aust top teams and can evrything from twisted frame repairs to near complete head stem rebuilds it is amazing really. i have taken repaired bikes for rides and they have been better than new. alot of bikes new have remarkable defects
