Hey Scotty,nah mate i was trying not to break out my dial in was 10.3 and handed the win to the other guy. the bike was a missile last nite ! i was still learning as the nite wore on but first pass straight off the trailer and pulled a 10.6 131 mph next pass 10.4 with r/t .005 there is still more in the bike and im getting more comfortable each pass..

Amanda that means the world to me.yes i still remember that nite very well,i was suprised i got the green light at the end because jeremy passed me at half track and pulled away.yes the man broke out and being jeremy he gave me the pep talk.he believed i could do it . the funny thing was that as he was moving past me to do a grudge match he said "moz im going to use the nitros on this guy" i said "what nitros" he said it was under the seat and he had used it in our race thats why he had broke out..i still laugh at that.. last nite after the last grudge race as i was returning up the pit road a shooting star shot across the sky. just blew me away.. be well Amanda give the LITTLE CHAMPION a smile from me

just an update, last nite at the motorplex the Bullfrog tribute bike went realy well got through to the third round missed the last race by a pubic hair but had a fuckin ball

Hey Rod,yeah mate after being sicker than the swine flu,its was fuckin awesome to get on that big black bastard,last time id changed the gearing and rode like a total soft cock.so it was realy good .the first elimination race against a sweet girl named Amy ended in tears as she had a .7 sec index and was strong off the line but as i drew along side she flipped the R6 at about 90miles per hourand the bike went another 200 meters she aparently tumbled and tumbled But she only got bruised and was fine...west aussie ASF boys are going to the drags again next wednesday. should be a big laugh..

Last wednesday at the Motorplex,Rocket the Wizz Hyo and myself had a friggin ball rocket and i swapped bikes for a couple of laps.it was funny cause they give you the time slips after your run the time slip is for the bike and i gave Rocket some stick cause his times were crap with me as pilot..best pass on the Bullfrog Tribute bike was 10.4 @130 mph..will do some more work on the bike early in the new year..shorten the headers and make a megaphone for the tail pipe..

Hey Rod,thats a long story rocket kept telling me the bike was "too quiet" so i pulled the guts out bof it and had the carbon end cap on it but it blew the arse out, end cap gone.so i put a metal end cap the best thing is i dont have to watch the taco just shift by noise..

thanks Harry, but that exhaust was created from two busted and bent systems and every piece of scrap i could find but with rocket ideas and Billywizz the awesome little welder it came together.i got some stick from the scrutiner at the drags about the "muffler"but its getting a new tail pipe soon..

morrry i described the system to noel here at pipeworks on the gold coast with the bandit in mind (in alloy) and was quoted $1800..without a can.

Holy Shit,ive just realised that its 5 weeks till the start of the 2010/2011 drag season and untill this morning the tribute bike hasnt fired a shot..so here's the plan.
.Fabricate new exhaust
.remove the airbox
.smaller oil cooler
.shorten the forks 50mm get rid of the tie down strap
.shorten the shocks 20mm
.get rid of the dash

The inner are locktighted and may need warming with a cool oxy or propane flame or heatgun to soften when your dissasembling the cartridge
I tend to put a bit more preload onto the shortened fork to still give it similar spring if coming in for a hard landing and reduce the rise at launch , the momentum of which induces wheelies , i find straps are still a good idea to "tune " to track conditions

new exhaust in kit form..

Here we are 4 weeks to the season starts and i just bought a bag of mandrell bends from Sam at Cannington performance,what a top bloke i fucked up when i ordered the bends as i measured the old thin walled stainless pipe at 36mm ID but the car based pipes are thick walled mild steel and are measured in inches OD..anyway i had a bag of undersize bends and Sam says no worries we will send them back and get the next sizes up.awesome..this saturday after work let the fabricating begin.. mel i need your tig skills
