Made some progress on Krash's figher.

Got the Busa swing arm back from the polishers

Fitted it.

Fitted the Brembo rear caliper and billet bracket

Fitted a FZ1 Radiator with the tank ends etc and nylon braid on the hoses.

The forks are sold and we are in the middle of fitting some K5 forks with black anodised tubes, Radial brake calipers , Yoshi springs and Racetec valves.

The bike is a real weapon now with silky smooth power and the WP rear shock makes the power so much more usable.

(and yes the bottle is still just sitting there the wrong way round LOL)

Oh and as a result of the Busa swing arm swap the GSXR one is available for sale if someone's interested ?

It's been professionally polished

Had the inside faces painted black

And then clear coated , so it's no maintainance :D

Nice work Stocky....wat was the reason for changing swingarms??????

It fills the front section in and theres no need for a hugger (as the underseat exhaust eats huggers) and I've gained about 30mm to 40mm in overall length for when the hair dryer goes on... but hopefully still short enough wheelbase for good handling...We hope to try and fit a K5 rocker to the rear shock as well which didn't fit with the 1000 swingarm either

Hey I'm not sure about your alternative final drive system in pic #3, I mean yeah, chain drive can be messy, but is the 'little wheel driving big wheel' system gonna hande that kinda power.....?[B)]

Nah nice work, looks good.;)

Yeh we're gona ditch that and go back to the regular chain drive.

The little 25H chain driving the sprocket on the "little wheel" just couldn't hack the pace.

rad looks good, never thought of that

how much power does a FZ1 make?

The FZ1 is no HP monster but the cooling area is almost the same as the GSXR.

It is running cooler now than it was with the GSXR rad in it.

I think that's cause it's not got the huge SS cover over it like the other one did though.
